Seats are included per plan and cost $5 per additional seat per month on any paid plan. They sit outside the overage cap below, deliberately: a seat is added by a person clicking a button on a screen that shows the price, so there is nothing to protect you from.

Cosend does not resell WhatsApp messages.

Cosend does not charge for WhatsApp messages. Meta bills your WhatsApp Business Account directly at their rates. We never mark them up, resell them, or hold your message credit.

This is structural rather than promotional. Your WhatsApp Business Account is billed by Meta, so there is no invoice for us to mark up even if we wanted to — which also means that when you compare our $19 against a reseller's bundled price, you should expect a Meta invoice either way. Saying so here is cheaper for both of us than saying it after your first bill.

your WhatsApp Business Account → billed by Meta
your Cosend plan → billed by Cosend

Every line, compared.

Connections are not our pricing axis. Automation runs, AI conversations and seats are — the things that grow when you succeed, rather than the number of phone numbers you happen to own.

What a metered unit is.

Two of them, and both are defined here in the same words they are defined in the Terms, in the dashboard and in the API documentation.

One AI conversation

One AI conversation is one 24-hour window, per contact, per connection, in which Cosend's AI generated at least one message. The window opens with the first AI-generated message and closes 24 hours later. Any number of AI messages within that window counts as one conversation.

So a customer who exchanges forty AI messages with you over an afternoon is one conversation, not forty. Overage is $0.08, $0.05 or $0.04 depending on the plan.

The 200% cap

Overage is capped at 200% of your plan's included AI conversations. When you reach the cap, AI replies stop until the next billing period or an upgrade. Your inbox, your API and your transactional sends keep working.

Which is what makes the maximum-invoice row above a real number rather than a hope: the largest bill each plan can produce is printed on this page before you subscribe.

An automation run is one execution of one flow, end to end, however many steps it has. A flow that triggers and stops at a condition is still one run.

The questions that come before the card details.

Do I need to move my number?

No. The number stays registered where it is, and coexistence attaches the Cloud API to it. There is no port, no new number and no re-registration step.

Can I keep using WhatsApp on my phone?

Yes — that is what coexistence means. The WhatsApp Business app keeps working on the same number at the same time. Messages your team sends from the phone are mirrored into the inbox, and messages sent through the API appear in the app.

What does Meta charge?

Meta’s own per-message rates for your customer’s country, billed by Meta directly to your WhatsApp Business Account. We add nothing to it and never see it.

What happens when I hit the AI cap?

AI replies stop until the next billing period or an upgrade. Your inbox, your API, your webhook routing and your transactional sends keep working — the cap bounds the metered part and nothing else.

Can I export my data?

Yes. Export and deletion are API endpoints rather than a support request, and the commitment is in the Data Processing Addendum.

Read the DPA

Is my message content stored?

By default yes — that is what makes the inbox, the history and the automations possible, and the retention period is on the table above. Direct-delivery mode stores no message content at all: events go to your endpoint and we keep no copy. It is a per-connection setting and it is free on every plan.

What if I cancel?

Your plan runs to the end of the period you paid for and then stops renewing. Data is retained for 30 days after that and then deleted. Export before or during that window.
